Music Industry

In the music industry there used to be 3 conglomerates: ACCESS INDUSTRY, SONY, VIVENDI 

A Conglomerate company means a big company that contains of other little companies.

ACCESS INDUSTRIES. 

This is one of the conglomerate companies out there in the music industry. The owner also owns Chemical and Natural resources, Media and Telecomunication, Discovery Channels & Cartoon Network.

He also owns one of the Major record labels - WARMER MUSIC GROUP.  - this group contains of little record companies such as: Warmer Chappell music, Atlantic records, Fair use, Seattle, Rock Band, Road Runner Records & many more. 

They also have Artists signed to the major record Labels: - Cher , The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Waka Flocker, Madona, Wizz Khalifa, T.I. , B.O.B, T-Pain, Flame, Plan B ect. 

 SONY.

Sony is the Secoond conglomerate in the music industry. Sony owns:- SONY Music - Sony Games, Electronics, & Even TV Channels. 

The Major Recird Label for Sony is: - SONY Music Enertainment which contains of Smaller record Labels of:- Columbia Epic, c2 records, Gun Records, Blooper Records, Artists that are signed onto this major record label are: Chris Brown, Chritina Agularia, Micheal Jackson, Beyonce. Ect..

 

VIVENDI.

vivendi is the third conglomerate. They also own video games  such as COD, Crash Bandicoot, TV Broadband supplier, Mobiles, theatre tickets.

There major record Company is Universal Music Group which contains of GBT, Death jam & Island Records. Artists that are signed onto the major record label are:- Kanye West, Justin Bebier, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, The Killers, JayZ, Cold Play, Snoopy, P-Diddy any MANY more. 

EMI was a major record company however, because it is not selling that well , Universal are now buying EMI RECORD LABEL. So instead of 4 major record label, as of now there is 3.
