PRODUCTION- Green Screen

The green screen was what we thought as a group would suit best for this song allowing us to film our performer behind the screen then later on putting the background we thought would work best. 

When planning, on our story board we planned to use the green screen when the lyrics matched what the performer was doing. The ideas we had for the green screen were moving stars, sunsets and also flashing colourful lights. The green screen was a good location to use as it abled us to not use to many locations and the missing parts we don't have we were able to film at the back of the green screen. 

During the lesson we filmed on the green screen, we decided when filming we would not use the tripod as we were told it worked best and it did. Not using a tripod made the scene we filmed look more professional as the character was moving along with the camera giving us the effect we wanted. The room with the green screen also aloud us to look at different music videos and giving our performer ideas in the way which we wanted him to act whilst lip sync the song for our music video. This showed to help a lot as once we played the song a couple of times he got into the mood.

The green screen was booked for 4 hours where we were able to get all the shots which we needed and experiment using the lights and also different songs.
One of the interesting scenes we filmed on the green screen was different people who have different styles from normal people this fits into the lyrics 'don't let them change ya' gathering these images clearly illustrate and represent the whole meaning of the line.
