PRODUCTION: Edit- Final cut adding markers

EDIT- Final cut adding markers
Adding markers was one important step when starting to edit our music video. Markers gave us a head start in where to start with our video. Before we started anything as a group we inserted the audio track of our song and then we started marking the track according to the beats. When marking we used the 'M' button to import markers whilst listening to the track to help us when we come to putting the clips on. The markers we used gave us a head start. We placed the markers every 2 seconds for the 3;14 song. Each marker stopped at a beat of the song where we then later on added clips. When we inserted the clips we cut them down using the 'I' and 'O' key then dragging them into the place which we wanted them to go.
Markers were very useful when we needed them to help us stick to the lyric line we wanted for example when we needed to pause the song on 'exhale' we used a marker to then import the clip we wanted on that particular line of the song.
As shown below i have print screened some clips from final cut showing the markers which we added and how it helped us when dragging the clips into place.
