EDIT- Adding Cuts and transitions
Adding cuts and transitions was another main aspect when editing our music video. Cuts and transitions were what made the music video more interesting and fun to watch. We made sure we didn't use a lot of jump cuts as these were seen to be obvious edits which we were told were boring and too obvious to use. Transitions included effects such as fade in and fade outs. These were used to make the transition from one scene to the next smooth and effective. When editing our music video we used these transitions as well as fades as we thought this went well with our music video as our song is fast.
The cuts when we were editing had to be quick as our song was fast so at each beat we had to make sure there was a cut as well as a transition to make it exciting for the viewers to watch.
