Strengths and Weaknesses of Video

The AS remake video had many strengths and weaknesses. Doing this task aloud me to see the aspects in which i will need to improve on and how i will be planning to do so.

Strengths:

1. Most of the moves done by the actors were on point
2. The lip sync was clear making it match the music
3. On each beat there was a jump cut allowing us to feel the beat
4. The editing matched the music well
5. The costumes the characters wore were suitable
6. We used a variety of shots to enhance the lyrics

Weaknesses:

1. The was not enough time to film most scenes as they were repeated
2. The editing was rushed
3. Most camera movements which we did were not straight 
4. Didn't stick to 180 degree rule
5. Some parts didn't match when the character was singing along
6. Sound was quiet

Overall as shown above i have illustrated the strengths and weaknesses of re creating the music video. I thought this task was fun and interesting to do as it prepared me for the course later on in A2. When creating my music video the strengths and weaknesses from this would help me take on board the ideas that i should remember to do
